Join us in the Concession Stands
at Kottmeyer Stadium!
There are many seasoned veterans that work the stand and are very willing to help you learn. You do not need to be a licensed food handler to prepare food. Clearances are not required to work in the Concessions stands.
- Grillers (Adults ONLY)- cook hot dogs, bacon, burgers. (First timers will be trained!)
- Food Preparation (Adults ONLY)- Manage fry baskets, pumping cheese, cooking pretzels, wrapping food, filling condiments and getting supplies for the cooks, wrapping food.
- Window– take orders from customers, take payments and make change, gather food orders for customers.
- Drinks (good for kids)– Prepare sodas and hot chocolate for the window workers
- Clean Up- Towards the end of each game, we begin cleanup. Everyone usually starts helping and then people can leave as needed since we don’t need everyone until the end.
MPA has a critical need for licensed Food Handlers. A licensed Food Handler is required for EACH concession stand EACH time it is open. The MPA will pay the fee to become licensed. The more volunteers that are licensed, the easier it is to ensure we have proper coverage to open the concession stand. We currently only have 2 licensed food handlers which places a burden on these volunteers to provide coverage for several games each week. Please consider helping.
