Welcome to the 2026 Election Page of

the Downingtown High Schools Music Parents Association

A dedicated MPA Executive Board contributes to the success of all of our DHS Music Programs. We need volunteers to make the magic happen! Our MPA Executive Board oversees many of the functions of our music programs and allows our music programs to share the benefits of operating as one non-profit organization. Our structure eliminates duplication of efforts and provides all our music programs with access to shared resources. For more about what the MPA does, please visit our What is the MPA? webpage.

We are currently seeking volunteers to join the MPA Executive Board and assist with these critical tasks for the 26-27 and 27-28 school years. All parents/guardians of DHS music students may be nominated, including incoming Freshman parents/guardians. Parents/guardians of the class of 2026 may be involved in the nomination and election process. Please consider nominating yourself or another parent for a position on the DHS MPA Executive Board. Sometimes, a nomination made by a peer provides the confidence and encouragement for a volunteer to fill a position. All nominees will be contacted for acceptance of their nomination prior to being placed on the election ballot. Our Nomination Form is available from March 15 - April 7:  2026-27 DHSMPA Executive Board Nominations.

Specifics about the Executive Board positions are available in our Roles and Responsibilities document.
